Sixteen states have not passed legislation although some of them have done a 1-time audit: Alabama, Delaware, Indiana (above), Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, N. Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Wyoming.
NOTE: The information on this page was compiled by volunteers for reference only. Note that no legislation requires the tracking of individual items in a sexual assault kit, which is a common standard in most industries.
